I wanted to talk about magnetic saturation of transformers, figuring this was the cause of old microwaves starting outa bit louder. Turns out, the cause is different, but Iwent on to talk about transformers anyway, and how it relates to an old "magnetic amplifier" technology that pre-dates transistors.
