Travelling from Mumbai to Nepal | Journey Towards Worlds Highest Peak (Mount Everest)| EBC Part-1 Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth. Mount Everest is in the Himalayas, a tall mountain range in Asia.[3] It is about 8,848 metres (29,029 feet) high and one of Seven Summits. Everest is located in Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal. Mount Everest is on the line between two countries: Nepal and China. The top of the mountain is in the "death zone" where the air is too thin for a human to live. People need large bottles of oxygen to let them breathe. The first people to get to the top were Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953. There are 18 ways (paths or routes) to get to the top,[5] but most people use only two ways. The Everest Base Camp Trek is a must-do adventure for trekkers of all levels, including seniors and beginners. Starting from Lukla, it leads you to heights of 5,545m at Kalapatthar, offering a breathtaking view of Mount Everest. The Base Camp itself sits at 5,364m, providing a close encounter with this majestic peak. The journey is enriched by warm hospitality from the Sherpa villages you'll encounter along the way. The gentle rush of Dudhkoshi, or the Milk River, accompanies you for about three days, creating a memory you'll cherish forever. Keep an eye out for the Danphe, an endangered bird and Nepal's national symbol. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ignor hashtags #himalayas #climbing #travel #explore #nepal #everest #viralvideo
