Tree Fern Care
Buy From a reputable dealer, I have used Nobridge and The Palm Tree Company, here are their details:
Nobridge: NOBRIDGE Garden Centre, Cliff Crescent, Cold Hatton, Telford TF6 6QB
Telephone: 01952 541319
The Palm Tree Company: https://www.thepalmtreecompany.com/
Keep wet during growing season, water the roots, trunk and crown.
Feed into the crown during the growing season using pelleted chicken manure and liquid seaweed plant food.
They like dapple shade, if planting in full sun take extra care to water thoroughly.
They are quite hardy down to minus 10 centigrade, keep moist but not wet during winter.
Protect the crown as explained in my winter protection video (LINK ABOVE)
Use a stake to support until the tree fern has rooted and can support itself.
Remember that the fronds can catch the wind and cause the tree fern to blow over.
