The tree was grafted on November 1, 1923, the final result was shown on October 4, 1924. The fusion occurs before spring and such a tree graft begins to develop faster than a tree grafted in spring. Perhaps someone will be busy in the spring and can do it in the fall. I often do this on a pear tree and am very pleased with the result.
wrapped with BUDDY TAPE grafting tape (Japanese) self-destructive width 30 mm. and a tourniquet for better fixation.
