Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This inexpensive script, Super Magic Eraser, will trim your artwork to the artboard in Adobe Illustrator, saving you time and effort by automating the process. It's a unique tool because it not only performs precise cropping but also handles multi-step tasks like expanding strokes, trimming shapes, and maintaining continuous gradients with one click. In this tutorial, I give an overview of how it works, and I demonstrate step-by-step how to crop a seamless repeat pattern tile. First, we drag a repeat pattern fill swatch out of the Swatches panel and use the bounding shape to create a perfectly sized artboard to crop to. Then, I show you how to use the script to perfectly expand the strokes and trim the artwork automatically. I also show you what types of content you need to expand manually.
