Air Caraibes Trip Report flying from Fort-de-France to Paris, from the Caribbean to Europe, onboard one of the Air Caraibes A350 on a lovely perfect afternoon in the Caribbean and morning in France.
A comfortable flight from Martinique island to Paris-Orly on the Akr Caraibes Airbus A350-900. Even though the economy cabin of this plane is configured with maximum seat density and it was fully booked, the flight wasn't bad at all. In general, I was positively surprised by Air Caraibes.
After a great stay in Martinique, it was time to head back to Europe. We took off heading south from Fort-de-France and, after the initial climb over the island, we made a left turn to start our route to Paris, flying initially in parallel to the island.
The Sunset that followed was, without a doubt, the best Sunset I've ever seen from a plane (and probably also outside a plane). It was the perfect combination of red, orange, and purple light, with some clouds and the Caribbean sea underneath without a single wave. I promise you it won't disappoint you. I think I've never seen something like this.
6 hours later, we entered France over Nantes and quickly started descent during another amazing Sunrise. After a beautiful approach, we landed on runway 06 in Paris-Orly, finishing that way a truly amazing flight with Air Caraibes.
About the catering service, I was also very positively surprised. I flew on the way to Martinique with Air France and I must say there was no possible comparison. The Air Caraibes main meal looked very well elaborated, with nice flavors, smell, and looks. Sadly, it is the opposite of its main competitor, Air France.
