Triumph TR4 IRS and TR6 Trailing Arm Studs Repair

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

The trailing arm studs on the TR4 IRS, TR5, TR6 and TR250 are a weak spot (one of many LOL) The torque spec for the hub nuts is only 14-16 ft/lbs and people tend to over torque them witch leads to stripping the threads in the threaded holes on the trailing arm. There are repair kits available that use helicoil or keyserts that work well, but I figured out a different way. Let me show you...
