UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer has extended an invitation from King Charles to US President Donald Trump for an official state visit of England.
Starmer, during an Oval Office press conference, handed Trump the official invite from the King in the form of a letter. Trump then read the letter silently before urging Starmer to relay its contents out loud.
Trump accepted the invitation for the visit, which Starmer called "unprecedented," stating that King Charles was a "beautiful man" and that he and Melania were eager to honour the UK.
