Trusting When God Seems To Be Absent - Fr Pat Collins CM, HOD, 18 Jun 2021

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Fr Pat teaches from a wide range of scriptural and Church resources on the apparent absence of God in our lives. Although we know God is everywhere at all times, we can feel he is absent, whether through sin, desolation, or suffering. Fr Pat shows how even Jesus experienced the abandonment of the Father on the Cross, opening the way back to the Presence of the Father, and inspiring us to evangelise those for whom God is absent with compassion - and with the comfort we have ourselves received from God. _______________________ Fr.
