Well I am tired of looking at the rack on the 1972 C-10. I have been wanting to lower the back to look more level for a while and in this video I show how at first I failed but then get it figured out. The 72 C-10 is already lowered in the back with a 5" drop spring. At first I tried installing a 6" rear drop or lowering springs. This actually raised the truck a 1/2" Knowing that wasn't going to work I decided to order a 2" lowering block for the rear. With the 6" lowering spring and the 2" lowering block installed it is perfect. Exactly the stance I was looking for. I generally like a 1/2" difference from front to rear. The lowering blocks for the C10 come with new ubolts and nuts. This is not hard to install and makes a huge difference. Down the road we may do something different such as a coilover or more modern set up but for now I am happy. I would call this C-10 Slammed. Looks so much better and ride was almost unaffected. If you are looking to lower your 67-72 C-10 pick up this may be something you want to try. I also listed the Wilwood brakes and Sprindles used on the truck. I think the next thing I will tackle on the truck is the out of place Jensen Radio. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......
