Synopsis:
"Tuch Maazi Bhagyalakshmi" is a heartwarming Marathi family drama that explores themes of love, fate, and gratitude. Yeshwantrao Patil, a wealthy businessman, lives with his wife Ranjana, who is unhappy despite their riches due to being childless. When a fire destroys his factory, the couple sets out on a pilgrimage that changes their lives forever.
In a tragic turn, they come across two orphaned children, Swati and Rahul, after a car accident claims the lives of a Gujarati couple. Moved by compassion, Yeshwantrao and Ranjana adopt the children. Fortune smiles upon them when Swati gives Yeshwantrao a lottery ticket worth ₹1 crore, which had been bought by her late father. Using the winnings, he restarts his business with partner Shankarao and considers Swati a symbol of good luck.
Years later, Ranjana finally gives birth to a son, Rajesh, and her behavior toward Swati and Rahul begins to shift. Despite Swati's loyalty and contribution to the family, jealousy and entitlement lead to emotional conflict within the household. As Rahul grows into a successful man in America, Swati stays behind, helping the family business flourish.
But when the aging Yeshwantrao and Shankarao decide to pass the legacy on to Swati, it sparks resentment in Rajesh and Ranjana, who begin to humiliate Swati—forgetting the sacrifices that once made her their "Bhagyalakshmi."
