Tumbling rocks begins! Our first go at tumbling Lake Superior agates, chalcedony and other rocks is finally here and it was very fun! I share my process (MORE DETAILS BELOW) of how I went about tumbling these treasures for the very first time. My Tumbling Process (as of right now)
Stage 1 - 60/90 - 7 days (Silicon Carbide)
Stage 2 - 120/220 - 10 days (Silicon Carbide)
Stage 3 - Pre-Polish - 7 days (Aluminum Oxide)
Stage 4 - Polish - 7 days (Aluminum Oxide)
*Borax burnishing between each stage
^^^please give me some tips and tricks to help my process!
Also, I know some stones may need to go back in and go through a stage repeatedly.
