In this video I will assume that space is a non-linear elastic medium to investigate if it is possible to confine wave energy locally.

This subject was brought to my attention by Piotr Auguscik. Thanks!

I used the following image sources:
Laser- and Crystal images: @LesLaboratory
Leslie makes great content on DIY lasers!

"Solar Sail" image owner: Andrzej Mirecki
All animations were made using the code supplied by @DiffractionLimited channel
The current version allows for some non-linearity to be simulated and can be downloaded from: https://github.com/0x23/WaveSimulator2D
I made a few adaptations of the original software version by @DiffractionLimited.
This version works differently in the sense that it uses the green channel to specify a potential energy distribution and not to specify sources and their frequencies. Code and some examples can be downloaded here (I will clean the code and add better examples in the upcoming week): https://www.huygensoptics.com/assets/2D_wave_sim_mod.zip
To create initial wave states, I wrote a small Windows app. Use at your own risk, it's not digitally signed and not very well written code. PLEASE NOTE: this software uses the computer's local definition of decimals (either point or comma). Using the wrong character will lead to either the wrong results or make the software crash! The VB.net source and executable can be downloaded here:

Special thanks to Nobby Assmann for Points and Comma's!
Did I forget anything/anyone? Please let me know in the comments and I will set it straight.
