Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Thank you for watching! In this video, I’m demonstrating how to alter the pattern piece to add a top zipper without a placket to the lining of ‘The One With More Me Know’, a new pattern from Sincerely Jen Patterns with early release in the More Me Know Summer Project Box. TL; DR version of my "math": the lines are 1.125" (1 and 1/8") from the top of the pattern piece and 1.75" (1 and 3/4") from the top of the pattern piece. I omitted instructions on the zipper length and zipper end finishing - oops! The zipper end that I mention "trails off into infinity" can really be any length you like. I would recommend starting at about 15.5" of zipper tape and see how you like that length of zipper end hanging into your finished bag. For finishing the end of the zipper tape, I highly recommend Lauren Mormino's tutorial on zipper ends using hardware: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2HNCLv2ZzE or Leanne Mosely's quick tutorial on fabric zipper ends: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpYNc3Tiqi8. Find Sincerely Jen’s patterns here: https://sincerelyjenpatterns.com/collections Find the Summer Project Box here: https://moremeknow.com The bag shown in the photos at the beginning of the video is made with marine vinyl (aqua), quilt cotton on the pocket accent from Free Spirit’s Valori Wells line - the print is called circle circle, and drape vinyl from Bob and Jen’s in the color ‘so fetch’. Zipper head is from Fandea and I don’t remember where I got the zipper tape, so sorry! I’m on Instagram @mindiemouseshop
