I've been using the ES-2 for about a year and a half now and I'm perfectly pleased with it. I believe it has two major advantages over other digitizing solutions I often see suggested in others' videos: 1) it permits the use of natural sunlight as the light source, and 2) it holds the negative perfectly parallel to the recording sensor, thus eliminating the necessity of obsessing over this factor.
