By popular request, Jaby and Michael watch Two Can Play That Game! A confident career woman devises a strategic plan to keep her man in check, but soon realizes that love isn’t as easy to control as she thought.
Two Can Play That Game (2001) was directed by Mark Brown (How to Be a Player, Barbershop, The Salon). The film stars Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day, Set It Off, Kill Bill: Vol. 1) as Shanté Smith, a savvy relationship expert who believes she has all the answers when it comes to men. Morris Chestnut (Boyz n the Hood, The Best Man, Like Mike) plays Keith Fenton, her charming but wayward boyfriend who challenges her rules of the dating game. Anthony Anderson (Barbershop, Hustle & Flow, Black-ish) provides comic relief as Tony, Keith’s friend who offers his own take on relationships. Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Steve Harvey Show, The Game, Miss Congeniality) plays Karen, one of Shanté’s closest girlfriends, while Tamala Jones (Booty Call, Castle, Next Friday) and Mo’Nique (Precious, Phat Girlz, The Parkers) round out the friend group as Tracy and Diedre, respectively. Bobby Brown (Ghostbusters II, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Being Bobby Brown) appears as Shanté’s ex, adding another layer to the battle of the sexes in this romantic comedy.
