Watch a U2 Dragon Lady military reconnaissance plane landing during an incredible sunset at RAF Fairford, followed by various other American military aircraft based in the UK.
The Lockheed-Martin U-2 Dragon Lady went into service in 1956 and is still flying, almost 70 years later. The last one was delivered to the US Air Force in 1989 and the latest variant is the U-2S. The U2 however is due to be retired in the foreseeable future.

Other military aircraft featured include fighter jets, transport planes and fuel tankers. All are home based in the UK at RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath, with the exception of the U-2 that is only temporarily based at RAF Fairford, while calling Beale Air Force Base in California it's permanent home.
