Note that these pros and cons are just my opinions (or things that I've heard), so take them with a grain of salt! UCSD is a fantastic school, giving students quality education and fantastic opportunities regardless of your major. Yet, no college or university is without their cons, most notably is ucsd socially dead? Whether you are planning on going to ucsd, looking into ucsd for the future, or even a completely different university overall, I tried to make the pros and cons broad enough so that they highlight some points you should look into when considering different universities. UCSD in particular is very interesting in that it is divided in to now 7 colleges (ERC, Marshall, Muir, Warren, Revelle, Sixth and Seventh) where each college has their own focus, GEs, living area, dining halls and ~vibe~.
