In this three-part lighting series, we are continuing our Unreal Engine for Beginners journey. We will dive into Lumen, its significance, and how to effectively employ it. Subsequently, we will embark on an exploration of various light types within Unreal Engine, highlighting essential attributes to streamline your workflow, ensuring you won't be lost in a sea of properties for each light source. Once we've grasped these foundational concepts, we'll expand our horizons and investigate supplementary tools like exponential fog height, volume clouds, and sky atmosphere, allowing us to operate on a grander scale. To wrap up this lighting series, we'll transition our scene into a nighttime setting.
