HUGE THANK YOU to @tenkarausa for sending the Ukiyo to Skiddy Fishing. This rod is so soft and a true 6:4. The Ukiyo is complimented by 8-13" trout and is a great creek rod. Although the Hane is a pack rod too, the Hane is more of a 7:3 compared AKA more backbone. If small trout are your forte, look no further!
It's very strong and was battling twigs and trees all day. The tip cap was snug and secure at the base of the handle after a 5 hour day, and the lilian is glued not swiveled. Tenkara USA has scored a gem of a rod here and this rod is easily top 5 in my collection. The textured handle is gritty and holds well even with wet hands. You can find the Ukiyo here:
