I had this background painting hanging out in the corner of my studio for ages, and couldn't decide what to do with it. So, there it sat, mostly forgotten. Then my friends and colleagues started doing transparent basecoats again. I had done a couple a year or two ago, and enjoyed them, but then had sat them aside and moved on to other things. I really liked what I've been seeing @MinaVillegasArt and @Fiona-Art create lately. Then I remembered my lonely background, banished to a lonely corner. I grabbed it up, dusted it off, and got to work.
