Is Din Tai Fung 101 in Taipei really worth the hype? 🇹🇼 Join me on an unforgettable Xiao Long Bao (XLB) feast at the iconic Din Tai Fung located in the famous Taipei 101 tower! If you love Taiwanese food, dumplings, or are planning a trip to Taiwan, this food adventure is for you.
While in Taiwan, I tried the local XLB restaurants. From the places that locals go to one in a busy train station... all were good but not too spectacular. Perhaps spoiled by the all the great places in my local home in Vancouver or perhaps just visiting on an off day, I'm hoping to find a great XLB feast in Taipei. So, listening to the wisdom of the crowds with the evidence of the perpetually long line ups, I decided to pay a visit to the legendary Din Tai Fung at the base of the iconic Taipei 101 tower. The wait, a typical 1 hour no matter the time of day you go; and the food -- exceptionally good and exceptionally consistent.
