Follow along on board at the Ultimate Hawaiian Hard Enduro in Kauai for round 2 of the AMA US Hard Enduro series. Had a mechanical issue with the starter gear coming loose and shearing the flywheel key. Luckily I was able to get it fixed out on the trail and get back going again to the finish. Shoutout to Grayson Gonsalves for taking his own flywheel key out of his bike and Kapili for bringing my an impact and few other extra tools out to me so I could get back going again.
Minus this issue, the bike was the best it's felt and the course was seriously awesome. The creeks can be miserable at times, but I was stoked to get back out there and finish the race after almost an hour and 45 minute setback.
Can't wait for the Hawaii vlog to come out. Got some great footage on my cell phone of documenting the race and fixing my bike in a legit creek. Gotta love the offroad community and riders. Offroaders are just built different!!!
