UMIK-1 miniDSP + DIRACLIVE I Next level DIRAC LIVE room correction

Most modern AV receivers come with a "puck" shaped measuring microphone so that you are able to use room correction out of the box. But is it better to use a calibrated room correction microphone like the miniDSP UMIK-1? I am going to test it out by using my ONKYO RZ50 surround reciever and compare my results from measuring with the puck mic against measuring with the UMIK-1. The UMIK-1 is the recommended microphone for REW and DiracLive room correction software which I'll be using to make my measurements.
