THE LOGLINE
A young lady is caught up in the hectc life of violence, culture and drama with her in laws. We also get to see an uncle that has a negatve innuence on 3 young men who are under his wings and want to do anything to please him; this leads them to a life of crime.
DRAMATIC QUESTION
South Africa is a country that has a lot of Gender Based Violence and as a country we need to educate people on all these types of gender based violence especially on Woman and children.
Now we have a country that has diferent socio classes where there’s high class, middle class and lower class. All these classes have their own issues when it comes to gender based so we want to educate people on what happens in rural areas where abuse is seen in some places as culture and in this case we will be looking at Ukuthwalwa of young girls by man in these rural areas.
We also want to educate people on how negatve role modeling can make people’s lives a living hell.
Therefore we have decided to explore more on this lifestyle to educate South Africans on what happens to young girls and also what happens when young man are not exposed to positve role modeling.
BRIEF SYNOPSIS
Manqoba is a young man whom his parents passed away and is now living with his uncle; his uncle is known in the township as a ruthless person who does as he pleases. Manqoba and his friends do everything to impress his uncle and hence they now get into the world of abuse and wrong doing.
Nosipho and her friends are living life to the fullest, they then get to attract the attenton of Manqoba and his friends and that is where everything starts to go wrong in their lives.
A life filled with drama, abuse and wrong doing takes place and Nosipho finally changes her life and runs away from Manqoba only to find out that she will be in a another world filled with its own drama due to the new mother in-law that does not want her child.
