In this video, I unbox a massive fabric haul of over 120 metres of remnants from the shop Pound a Metre. I had no idea it was going to be this big, but I'm so excited to show you all the different fabrics I got!
I show off all the different types of fabrics I received, including organza, knits, suiting, mesh, prints, satins, plaid, cotton, and more. Each fabric has its own unique qualities and I explain how I decide what I will make out of them.
I go over looking at yardage for common items, such as tunics, dresses, and shirts, as well as looking at the qualities of the fabric such as stretch, weight, finish, opacity, and hand. I also show you how I use burn testing to work out what kind of fibre the fabric is. The results might surprise you!
