Unexpected is easily the most ambitious song I've ever released, and the entire year it took for it to come to fruition was spent going into excruciating detail to capture the energy of Pizza Tower's final boss. Then I had an idea and another idea and 50 more ideas and before you know it, it's a titanic 12 minute long pocket symphony and my tribute to the immortal SMiLE, with genres spanning from rock to jazz to country to classical to much, much more.
