After coming back to the U.S. from Korupun for a furlough, Elinor Young realizes how much she needed rest. She spends her time planning and strategizing for the needs of Korupun, all while battling the lingering results of polio that affected her heart. When post-polio syndrome emerges in her body, Elinor is forced to leave the Kimyal people and return to the U.S. with tearful trust in the Lord.
