CHAN Choi-yuk (Priscilla), Assistant Curator I of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, is passionate about movies, and thinks that cultural workers should have a sense of mission. As a conservationist of Hong Kong old movies, she has all along been committed to searching for the lost movies in Hong Kong with an unyielding spirit. The job not only allows her to realise the importance of faith, but also enriches her life experience through many special encounters.
Priscilla inherits the passion and knowledge from the curators of the previous generations, and has carefully planned for a wide variety of programmes. Besides, she also upholds the team spirit and hopes her team can face the challenges together, share the fruits of their work, and share their available information with the public. Apart from allowing the Hong Kong people to understand our own movies, Priscilla also hopes her work can facilitate the promotion of Hong Kong movies to the world, so that more people from other places can understand Hong Kong movies and their connotations.
