In this video we highlight the struggles of the Venezuelans and Guyanese familes who are squatting on the Tuschen Sea Dam, East Bank Essequibo. Most of them started squatting there during the pandemic. They were not getting paid and could not afford to pay the rent and even got evicted. Now, they were served court paper by someone who claimed that he purchased the land. They want to get out of the sea dam but are worried about where they would go and what to do next. The families are struggling financially to get by. The Central Islamic Organization of Guyana, through brother Gulzar Namdar and the Canadian Support Group provided food packages to them.
