STATEMENT FROM SACPD
"Officers responded to a report of a shooting. At the scene, officers located one victim who sustained at least one gunshot wound. That victim, a male adult, was transported to a hospital for treatment and was reported to be in stable condition. A second victim had been physically assaulted and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
"Officers from the SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Teams responded and attempted to make contact at a residence that was possibly occupied and was later found to be unoccupied. Detectives responded to the scene to assist, and the circumstances of the incident remain under investigation."
