In this video I'll be trying out the Upgraded ToAuto TRF3000 tabletop metal melting electric furnace. I will be melting down some scrap copper wire and pouring the molten metal into the supplied graphite mold. This new melting furnace can melt copper in around 40 minutes and will heat up to a maximum temperature of 1200° C in about 20 minutes. Compared to the previous model, this upgraded furnace melts metal much faster as it is 1800W compared to 1400W. This is the perfect furnace for beginners looking to get into metal casting at home and don't want to spend a lot of money on a large propane furnace. It is small and lightweight and can be placed virtually anywhere. All the necessary casting tools and safety gear are included with this machine.
