The mod takes a screenshot of every frame which can then be compiled into a smooth 60fps video which is nice to watch for YouTube. The game actually runs pretty slow and sometimes hits 3fps or even 1fps during intense scenes such as black holes or nanites. Even though my videos are only a few minutes long, it takes me quite a few hours to make them.
