Urban Sketching Tips: Work Fast and Capture the Essence with Pen and Watercolors

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing with you my afternoon in New Westminster, first enjoying a quick lunch, then walking and finding another sketch inspiration on the street. Please watch the video until the end to see how I composed and rendered two sketches. The cafe sketch took about 30 minutes, and the urban sketch one hour. 🎨 Materials I used: - Sailor's fude fountain pen - Noodler's Brown 41 Ink (to fill the fountain pen) - Mungyo watercolors - Etchr Mix-Media A4 size Landscape Sketchbook - Holbein Water Brush (large tip) - Holbein water brush (medium tip) 🎨 I'm teaching online classes every week.
