My channel is about my musical journey starting in the late 1970's, collecting records, then moving on to acquiring CD's starting in about 1992. Along the way in the early 1980's, I also became an avid audiophile. I became increasingly interested in the accurate reproduction of musical sound. For nearly 30 years I was convinced that the vinyl record possessed the finest sound quality. However, in recent years I have found that the often overlooked CD can now not only compete with vinyl in sound reproduction, but in many respects can match or exceed the LP. My channel is about my past experiences & knowledge of collecting records & CD's for nearly 5 decades. It's my goal to bring you some favorite bands & artists that I have thoroughly enjoyed for many decades on CD. In addition I want to highlight several often overlooked CD's that possess outstanding sound quality. My channel is here to hopefully expand your knowledge of these often overlooked CD's.
