Hi! I'm Daniella and I live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I grew up in Hong Kong and the UK, and I’m of mixed heritage including Chinese, Sri-Lankan, Dutch and Portuguese.
My background is in Genetics with French, and Real Estate. For about a decade I worked as a surveyor, but I never felt it was my calling. Eventually, I let it go to pursue a more creative path, and today I’m a content creator and visual artist.

I run a YT channel called Pocket Lighthouse. The name reflects my goal: to shine a light on diverse topics with info that’s useful and easy to access. Topics include lifestyle trends, unique home decor ideas, inspirational exhibitions and meaningful travel spots.
ARTIST
I specialise in line art illustration, particularly with acrylic ink. I value historical buildings, sustainability through recycling & repurposing and a love for dogs. These values, combined with the joy of sharing good food & drinks with loved ones, naturally find their way into my work.
