The National Development Corporation (NDC) was established with the objective of enhancing the integration and implementation of development projects and programs, improving sectoral adaptive capacities, and accelerating Afghanistan’s economic growth. The corporation was created to streamline the integration of several key government enterprises, including the Housing Construction Enterprise, Banayee Construction Enterprise, Helmand Construction Enterprise, Afghani Construction Enterprise, Arzaq Enterprise, Wadi Nangarhar Agricultural Enterprise, Ghori Cement Factory, Jabal Al Saraj Cement Factories, North Coal Enterprise, Metal Elements Production Enterprise, and Central Transporataion Enterprise.
