Hey Folks. My name is Chris, but you can call me @TheDivergentDrummer
I've been playing drums since '93 when I started lessons with the wonderful Jeff Stewart; An instructor who knew the value of teaching not just drums, but the language of music. He introduced me to Funk, Latin, Rock, Jazz, Reggae and all manner of other percussion.
Fast forward 2 years or so, and I'm marching DCI in the Blue Saints Drum and Bugle corps; An adventure that my children also had the pleasure of experiencing.
It's not all drums though! Being a Twice Exceptional Aphantastic Neurodivergent, I tend to have more then a few special interests, Music being one of them. Playing on the kit allows me to release captivated energy derived from the situation of my senses.
I'm also kind of a sponge, always learning and growing. I like to problem solve and fix things. Electronics, Vehicles, Toys, snowmobiles, Software, networks, telecom systems, portable devices and component level repair.
