Lorna Lancaster - Purely Pan Pastels
I am a professional Equine Artist and qualified Art Tutor. My channel is dedicated to painting in Pan Pastels although I do also paint in pastels and oils.
I have been painting horses and dogs for many years, I also enjoy landscape painting. I have used most mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolour, pen and wash, but my main and preferred medium is Pan Pastels, they are so easy to use with the Sofft applicators, soft and buttery and they produce a very painterly effect used on their own. I use Canson Mi-Teintes paper, and also mountboard primed with Art Spectrum Colorfix primer.
I have exhibited with the Society of Equestrian Artists regularly in their Horse in Art Annual exhibition, and I am an Associate Member.
