When I heard the tapes my sister brought back from Benidorm in 1995, I knew I had to start mixing, and in 1999 the Ministry of Sound Trance Nation album started my trance journey. Offshore, Pearl River, Happiness Happening and Cream will always remind me of my first listen to that album, which started it all.

Largely retired since my Citronic PD-1s in the early 2000s, I recently found myself looking after my friend's Audio Technica AT120s, so bought an Allen & Heath Xone 23c and spun a few mixes together for him and put then on YouTube. I never expected anyone else to watch them!

Most of the vinyl in these mixes we collected back in the early 2000s but I've bought one or two more recently.

Huge shoutout to The Thrillseekers. His mixes on YouTube really inspired me to get back on the decks. Big thanks to Steve for his massive contribution to Trance music.
