Mechanical faculty of USPTU
Ufa State Petroleum Technological University is the regional flagship university of Russia, the flagship university of PJSC GAZPROM.
The Faculty of Mechanics is one of the oldest faculties of USPTU. For more than 65 years, the Faculty of Mechanics has been training specialists for the oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical industries, chemical and oil engineering. MF graduates are in demand wherever oil and gas is extracted and processed, as well as at machine-building enterprises, in construction and installation, design and other organizations.
In 2020, the transformation of the MF into the Institute of Oil and Gas Engineering and Digital Technologies of USPTU was completed.
Currently, the Institute includes five graduating departments:
1. Materials science and corrosion protection.
2. Technological machines and equipment.
3. Technology of metals in oil and gas engineering.
4. Mechanics and design of machines.
5. Equipment and technologies for welding and control.
