Hispanics Enjoying Camping, Hunting, and the Outdoors (HECHO) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2013 with the goal of conserving and protecting public lands and natural resources for future generations. HECHO provides a platform for Hispanics/Latinos to contribute their knowledge and perspectives on conservation issues. Since its creation, our organization's mission has been to increase the participation of Hispanic voices and leaders - who have historically been excluded - in decision-making on environmental and conservation policies, including water and land stewardship.
