Maharshi Vyas Vidya Pratishthan (MVVP) is an Educational Trust based in Mumbai established in 1996 in remembrance of the invaluable contribution of the great stalwart, Pandit Vasudev Shastri Panshikar (30th May, 1860 - 2nd Sept, 1937) to the field of Sanskrit.
The primary event of MVVP is the Annual Amarakosha Recitation Competition that began in the year 2003 with a single center in Mumbai, which has now grown to have centers all over the State of Maharashtra.
This YouTube channel of MVVP was launched on the occasion of the 160th Birth Anniversary of Pandit Panshikar on 30th May, 2020 with a video created in the year 2013 commemorating 10 years of successfully organizing the Annual Amarakosha Recitation Competition.
