Welcome to my YouTube channel, "Jim's van life journey", where I explore the real ups and downs of van life in the UK after spending 12 years living and teaching English in China. Since returning at the end of 2023, I'm diving into the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of this lifestyle. With dreams of living in a motorhome, I envisioned a cheap and carefree daily life that would ease my deep-rooted fear of homelessness. However, the reality is a bit more complex - reality bites, you might say.
