Shamim Hossen

Shamim Hossen (born 10 August 1992) is a Bangladeshi sports journalist, singer, lyricist, actor and director. He is working as an assistant editor in the sports department of the Daily Jugantor. In 2019, the first short film written and directed by him, Jodi Thake Nosibe was released. Hossen is an all-rounder in the Mirpur Cricketers cricket team, which is made up of sports journalists living in Mirpur, Dhaka. Shamim Hossen started journalism in his education life. He started his journalism career in 2014 as an assistant editor of amadershomoy.com. He then joined purbaposhchim.com online in February 2016.in October 2016, he was appointed as the assistant editor of the sports department of the Daily Jugantor. Hossen was born on 10 August 1992 in Ajmerpur village of Raipur union under Bagharpara police station in Jessore district. Shamim Hossen completed Honor's and Master's Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at Jagannath University in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
