Toulouse Conservatory Xavier DARASSE

Toulouse Conservatory Xavier DARASSE

Created in 1820, the Toulouse music school became a branch of the Paris Conservatory in 1840. Today, the establishment is classified as a Regional Conservatory and is named Xavier Darasse, since 10.05.2018.

Its vocation is to promote, in the best educational conditions, the awakening of children to Music, Dance, and Theater, the teaching of a living practice to young people, thus allowing the emergence of future musicians, dancers and professional actors, as well as the training of future enlightened amateurs: the public of tomorrow!

A locally recognized place, the CRRT Xavier Darasse constitutes, through its cultural action extended to the metropolitan territory, a real dynamic core of artistic life in Toulouse. Its cultural actions are aimed at nearly 2,500 schoolchildren, and its artistic season is followed by more than 20,000 spectators.
