About me:
Growing up in a smaller town in Minnesota, I developed a passion for snowboarding on a small resort, Mt. Kato. I progressed to obtain a small sponsorship with Burton in 2013. However, while running D2 cross country for Minnesota State University, Mankato at the same time, I developed compartment syndrome. Multiple operations were done to address the issue without success, and I was left in chronic pain with doctors and trainers telling me there was nothing left I could do, and my days of being an athlete were over.
Refusing to settle for this, I kept working hard and found people who believed with me that I could get better. A few years later, I was pain free and racing bikes on the road as a category 1 cyclist. After Moving to Utah in 2019, I feel I have found my true passion training in the canyons and refocusing on mountain biking and gravel, bringing together flow and technical skills from snowboarding with my endurance developed from running.
