1962年生,福建福安人,為溈仰宗第十代、臨濟宗第四十五代傳人。1980年就讀於中國佛學院,隨後於福建佛學院、閩南佛學院、戒幢佛學研究所等地任教。提出皈依、發心、戒律、正見和止觀為修學五大要素,創建靜心學堂課程體系,繼承太虛大師人生佛教思想,用佛法智慧解決當代社會問題,希望人們擺脫迷惑和煩惱,能夠健康、幸福而有智慧地生活。
Venerable Master Jiqun, born in 1962 in Fu'an, Fujian Province, is a distinguished 10th generation successor of the Weiyang Sect and 45th generation of the Linji Sec.
After attending the Buddhist Academy of China in 1980, Ven. Jiqun dedicated himself to teaching at esteemed institutions, including the Fujian Buddhist Institute and Minnan Buddhist Institute. He distills "Taking Refuge, Arousal of Mind, Precepts, Right Views, Samatha-Vipassana" as the five pillars of Buddhist practice, laying the foundation for the Mindful Peace Academy Program and influencing countless lives.
Succeeding Master Taixu's "Humanistic Buddhism," he leverages Buddhist wisdom to address contemporary societal issues. He seeks to liberate people from confusion and affliction, aspiring to guide individuals toward a life of happiness and wisdom.
