The Lovely Place

Raised going to my Mamaw & Papaw's Tennessee farm after church every Sunday. Hunting deer, squirrel, rabbits & raccoon. Fishing every creek and pond, the love for land and nature is in my DNA. Now with grandchildren & land of our own, we invite you to join us as we transform 60 raw acres into "The Lovely Place". God willing, together, we'll learn all we can about creating a self sufficient, sustainable and secure life while developing a homestead and future family farm. We'll grow gardens for food, raise animals for live stock, and learn to use all the tools a family needs to survive off-grid. We'll work the land using our tractor, bush hog, grapple and many other attachments. We'll enjoy fun toys like "Little Red" our Polaris Ranger. Build driveways, pole barns, tiny home & ponds. With the goals of using the sun for solar power, harvesting rain water for drinking, nurturing deer and other wild game for sustenance! We'll work like it's all up to us and pray like it's all up to God.
