The films on this channel cover anything that I find interesting and visually appealing from trains to a beautiful sunset in Egypt to a woodpecker that visited my bird feeders to steam powered cars. Mostly trains though to be frank.

Some early films were shot with a still camera but now I use a Panasonic HDC-TM300 (a three chip camcorder recording to flash memory) with a Audio-Technica PRO24-CM short shotgun mike which I have to remove when it's raining because the rain hood doesn't go over it. The camera has broken down twice- the second time after the guarantee ran out but with perhaps a couple of hundred hours of use. It required a new main PCB which Panasonic was unable to explain and entirely disinterested in helping with the £400+ cost despite "reasonable expectations". Frankly for me to get another Panasonic product now they'd have to be giving them away.

The microphone I would recommend to anybody.
